The Institute, is conducted the training of the Trainers’ Pool. There are three numbers of Trainers’ Pools each consisting of 5 police officers of and above the rank of inspectors and 5 numbers drawn from professions like medical, psychiatry, social work, legal and cultural.

After receiving the training the trainers pool is utilized to conduct training to the policemen all over the state. |

By way of a system of performance evaluation, NIPCCD will review the cases handled by the trained policemen at random. By examining the complainants of individual cases the performance of the trained police personnel will be assessed and the needful will be done for their rewards or re-training as the case may be. |

| TRAINING OF TRAINERS |

There will be 15 nos of civilians drawn from different fields like Medicine, Social work, Psychiatry , Academics, Journalism etc. 15 numbers of police personnel of and above the ranks of Inspectors are also selected to be the Trainers' Pool. |

3 numbers of training sessions at NIPCCD will start w.e.f. Sept, 3, 2002 for these Trainers' Pool. Each session will comprise of 5 days and will have 10 members ( 5 policemen and 5 civilians). |

TA at the rate of Rs. 500.00 (Rupees five hundred) only to each participant will be given. Each civilian participant will receive training allowance at the rate of Rs. 300.00 (Rupees three hundred) per day. Free boarding and lodging charges for all the participants including training and kit materials will be given. |

Resource persons will come from Delhi. |

| ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR POLICEMEN |

The Core trainers who have received training at NIPCCD is formed training team and organize training programmes at NIPCCD . Each training team consisting of three members and NIPCCD faculty are given training to 30 Assam Police representative per batch. NIPCCD coordinate with all the training programmes and engaged in follow up action for the TOT team as well as for the Assam Police trainers at the field level. |

Free boarding and lodging for the trainers is arranged at NIPCCD. Their stay within the campus is compulsory. Only boarding charge is borned by Aashwas Project. |

Modules for both the courses as also the schedule of training programmes are ready as per tripartite decision of Aashwas, UNICEF and NIPCCD. |
